Young activist dies in Paris after being

 attacked by neo-nazis

Wednesday, June 5, 2013, out of a clothing store, near the Gare Saint-Lazare, Clément Méric, a young trade unionist 18 years of age and anti-fascist activist was beaten to death by members of the extreme radical right. Arriving in Brest for his studies at Political Science, was the victim of extreme right-wing violence that has grown in recent months. He died from his injuries, in the night, at the Hospital Pitié-Salpêtrière.
Witnesses of the attack against the political science student reported that two men and a woman described as skinheads and aged about 20 years old, attacked the youth with special brutality, hitting him with brass knuckles while he was lying on the ground.
Seven suspects, six men and one woman were detained, according to police sources. According to the same sources the suspects were identified from photographs.
Meanwhile, the organization Jeune Nationaliste Révolutionnaire acting in recent years in France consists of neo-Nazis and skinheads, is known for its aggressive action against immigrants and leftists and maintain ‘friendly’ relations with the Golden Dawn.
In response, protests have taken place across France and in many other cities of Europe.
